Fifty1Fifty Tactical Fills Some Intriguing Niches in the AR Market
Fifty1Fifty Tactical got its start making custom one-off guns that were raffled to support various charities and has grown into a company offering its own AR-15 and AR-10 platforms. One of Fifty1Fifty’s latest ventures is collaborating with Jaguar Silencers to build some integrally suppressed AR-platform rifles, and Guns.com got a closer look at GOALS 2025.
MudGhost
The MudGhost was one of the first rifles that caught my eye at GOALS range day. This is Fifty1Fifty’s take on the AR-15 and AR-10. Not only does it have a cool name, but it was a joint project with Jaguar Silencers. Seeing an increased demand for suppressed firearms, the companies worked together to make an integrally suppressed AR-15.
The MudGhost is built on Fifty1Fifty’s amphibious lower, which is designed to quickly drain water for any amphibious operations. The lower also features the company’s unique cammed takedown system that eliminates the traditional takedown pins.
The MudGhost’s barrel features a titanium Jaguar Silencer suppressor that fits all the way back to the gas system. It provides impressive sound reduction – the .300 Blackout AR-15-style rifle we shot was extremely quiet. The MudGhost is available in several calibers, including 5.56, .300 Blackout, .308, and 8.6 Blackout.
Ambidextrous AR-10
The company also released a completely ambidextrous AR-10 platform. Fifty1Fifty wanted to offer something that was a mirror image on both sides, with the same controls for left and right-handed shooters.
The line also has various barrel lengths that you would not normally see on an AR-10. On the range, the company was showing off a 14.5-inch model that was impressively soft-recoiling.
The company makes its fully ambidextrous AR-10 in several barrel lengths, including a 14.5-inch model that was impressively soft-recoiling.
This all-American company is taking a different approach to a few all-American designs. From integrally suppressed to fully ambidextrous rifles, Fifty1Fifty is aiming to become a household name in AR-platform firearms.
