GOALS 2025: G80 Wows with Modular Gen 3 Glock Chassis System
We saw a lot of cool handguns at GOALS 2025, but perhaps none as modular as the G80 80-percent chassis system.
Most people are familiar with the Gen 3 Glock and its popularity among many companies as a clone. G80 took this popular platform and improved the modularity. With the future of handgun designs seemingly going the way of serialized chassis that can easily be moved from different grip frames, G80 decided to add that ability to the Gen 3 Glock pattern.

...which then fits into a pistol frame compatible with any Gen 3 Glock lower parts kit.
The G80 unfinished receiver is a metal chassis system designed to fit into G80’s line of modular pistol frames. The company offers a package that includes all the necessary drill and Dremel bits, along with a template to finish out the 80-percent receiver. Once complete, the receiver will accept any Gen 3 Glock lower parts kit, allowing for customization when building out the chassis. When all the necessary parts are installed, the chassis sits in any G80 pistol frames.
G80 is also working on a PDW chassis with a collapsible brace, which was a lot of fun during range day at GOALS 2025.
While G80 is currently only offering the compact (Glock 19 size) frame, the company is working on releasing full-size, sub-compact, and deployable PDW frames. This will allow G80 chassis to be installed in a plethora of different designs. The G80 PDW chassis was the most popular at range day, as it adds points of contact and easier recoil control over standard handgun frames.
Building firearms at home is an American tradition that dates to the early flintlocks, and thanks to G80, that tradition lives strong with popular modern platforms.
