New: CZ 600 Plus Bolt-Action Rifle Series in 5 Models
New for 2025 is the CZ 600+ series of hunting and precision bolt-action rifles in five distinct models.
The company introduced the original 600 series in 2021 as a replacement for the well-liked 557 and 527 series guns. Featuring a modular design with an interchangeable barrel system that allowed users to swap barrels easily and safely across multiple calibers, the 600s also came with an accuracy guarantee.
The new 600+ line adds a quick four-position adjustable trigger, alloy receivers with integrated Weaver rails or steel receivers with Remington 700-style mounting interfaces, a silent and ambidextrous cross-bolt safety that doubles as a bolt lock, and cold hammer-forged barrels backed by CZ’s lifetime barrel warranty. Plus, all barrels on all models have threaded muzzles.
The 600+ models include the American, Alpha, Lux, Range, and Trail. The first three are guaranteed to deliver sub-MOA accuracy at 100 yards (three-shot groups), while the Range offers guaranteed sub-0.75 MOA accuracy in five-shot groups. A 60-degree bolt throw and controlled feeding are standard. All use detachable box magazines.
The barrels are user-interchangeable and come in different lengths and calibers, categorized by class (mini, medium, and long action), as well as three different profiles: heavy, semi-heavy, and lightweight. (All photos: CZ)
CZ 600+ American
This model is billed by CZ as having timeless American styling combined with modern enhancements. It sports a Turkish walnut stock and has a Remington 700-style optics interface.
The light-profile barrels are threaded 9/16-24 (on .30-06, .308 Win, .270 Win, 6.5 CM, and .243 Win variants) or 1/2-28 TPI (.223 Rem), depending on caliber, with barrels typically 24 inches in length. Weight is about 7 pounds. These start at $999.
CZ 600+ Alpha
The Alpha model features a rugged, fiber-reinforced polymer stock and a semi-heavy barrel, designed for reliable performance in all conditions. Optics use a Weaver rail integrated into the durable alloy receiver, which CZ stresses has a guaranteed service life of 20,000 rounds for all calibers.
Its 24-inch barrels use 5/8-24 threads in .243 Win, 6 CM, 6.5 CM, 6.5 PRC, 270 Win, .30-06 SPRG, and .300 Win Mag and 1/2-28 TPI in .223 Rem. Weight is about 7.75 pounds. These rifles start at $799.
CZ 600+ Lux
The Lux is a more refined model, complete with a classic European walnut stock and fiber-optic adjustable iron sights. It uses a light-profile sporter barrel on a steel receiver equipped with a Remington 700-style interface. The muzzles are threaded M15x1.
The CZ 600+ Lux will be offered in America in .308 Win, .30-06 SPRG, and .300 Win Mag with either 20- or 24-inch barrels. Weight is about 8.5 pounds. MSRP is $1,199.
CZ 600+ Range
As its name would imply, whereas most other 600+ models are optimized for hunting use, the Range is built for precision shooting with adjustable laminated target stock features, including a tool-free adjustable comb. The stock also has built-in QD points and an accessory rail in the heel.
It runs heavy-profile 24-inch barrels and is offered in .223 Rem, 6 CM, 6.5 CM, and .308 Win. Weight is in the 10-pound range. The MSRP on the CZ 600+ Range is $1,599.
CZ 600+ Trail
With the goal being a lightweight and compact gun meant for easy stowage, the Trail is a versatile model featuring a retractable four-position stock and compatibility with AR and CZ BREN 2 pattern magazines across .223 Rem, .300 BLK, and 7.62x39mm.
The CZ 600+ Trail uses 16-inch barrels with threaded muzzles and has an MSRP of $1,299. Weight is about 6 pounds.
"The CZ 600+ represents the future of hunting and precision rifles," said Tom Taylor, CZ-USA’s CMO. "Our relentless commitment to innovation and excellence has resulted in a rifle series capable of exceeding the expectations of the most demanding shooters."
