New Vortex Triumph HD Scope, Rangefinder Drop Just in Time for Deer Camp
Wisconsin-based Vortex has released two new Triumph HD optics to help you get dialed in for deer season. The new Triumph HD 3-9x40 riflescope and Triumph HD 850 laser rangefinder are lightweight and user-friendly, and the scope even comes with free rings.
The company’s HD optics system delivers improved resolution, color fidelity, sharpness, and light transmission to ensure a crystal-clear look at the deer you’re stalking, while anti-reflective coatings on the lenses eliminate glare and improve low-light performance.

A 40mm second focal plane scope with a 1-inch tube, the Triumph HD 3-9x40 features capped turrets that are adjustable at .25-MOA increments to 55 MOA for both elevation and windage. The Dead-Hold BDC (MOA) reticle with custom dot design is meant to “eliminate guesswork on holdover and windage corrections.” The scope is 11.8 inches long, weighs 16.5 ounces, and comes with a set of Vortex Hunter rings for easy mounting.
The new Triumph HD 850 has a reflective range of up to 850 yards.
The Triumph HD 850 laser rangefinder is a 5X magnification rangefinder with a reflective range of up to 850 yards. At just 3.8 by 3.1 inches and 1.4 inches thick, the Triumph HD 850 weighs less than 5 ounces, making it convenient for carrying in a pocket of your hunting vest.
Three ranging modes allowing the user to compensate for slope angle, measure the actual line of sight, or display continuous distance readings while panning across the landscape. Target modes include Normal, First, and Last and will display the standard/strongest range result, closest distance, or farthest distance, respectively.
The Triumph HD 850 rangefinder is palm-sized yet durable.
The soft-touch exterior offers a secure grip even in wet conditions or with gloves, and the black LCD display is easy to read even in bright sunlight.
MSRP is set at $149.99 for both the scope and the rangefinder.
