Building on its decades of experience in sporting shotguns, Beretta has designed a new autoloading 12 gauge that is engineered from the ground up for waterfowl: the new AX800 Suprema.
Using a 3.5-inch chamber and Steelium Plus barrels, the AX800 features the new reduced-recoil B-Link Pro gas system, an upgrade from the B-Link Plus system on the beloved A400 Xtreme Plus. In a further improvement from the A400, the new AX800 has a modular, interchangeable grip and cheek piece to semi-customize the shotgun's ergonomics.

Note the enlarged controls and rubberized grip.
And the optics-ready mount.
A key facet of the AX800's design is its Adjustable Fit System, including adjustable length of pull, cast/drop adjustments, and an interchangeable cheek pad.
There is a lot going on under the buttstock, with the shotgun's Kick Off Pro hydraulic system and buffer recoil pad.
The Beretta AX800 Suprema series runs Steelium Pro barrels with Optima HP choke systems. Barrel lengths are 26, 28, and 30 inches.
Besides the classic black-on-black, Beretta plans to release the AX800 in several different colorways in the coming months, as well as Mossy Oak Bottomland, Mossy Oak Shadowgrass, Realtree Max-7, Optifade Timber, and Optifade Marsh camouflage, among others.
"The AX800 Suprema is the most advanced waterfowl shotgun we’ve ever built," said Caleb McMillen, Beretta's Sr. Product Manager for Long Guns. "Every part of this platform was designed and engineered to give waterfowl hunters an advantage: harder-hitting and more consistent patterns, faster cycling, dramatically reduced felt recoil, cleaner operation, and a fit system that lets shooters fine-tune the gun to their body."
The new Beretta AX800 Suprema series has an MSRP starting at $2,399.
