Smith & Wesson expanded its Ultimate Carry J-Frame revolver family this week to the tune of four new no-lock wheelguns, with two options in both .32 H&R Magnum and .38 Special +P.

The new Lipsey’s Exclusive UC J-Frame revolvers include the Model 432-UC and Model 632-UC in .32 H&R Magnum. These lightweight six-shot revolvers sport 1.88-inch stainless-steel barrels and aluminum-alloy frames, giving the guns a scant 15.6-ounce weight.

Model 442-UC and Model 642-UC in .38 Special +P also sport 1.88-inch barrels and aluminum-alloy frames, but the capacity is dropped to five rounds with a weight of 15.3 ounces. Color options are a sleek all-black finish for the 432-UC and 442-UC or a classic matte stainless for the 632-UC and 642-UC.

All four revolvers come with enhanced internals that improve endurance and trigger pull. There are also fluted chambers with chamfered charge holes for easier loading. Getting and staying on target is aided by the addition of an XS Sights Yellow Tritium front sight supported by a black dovetail U-notch rear.

Perhaps the most notable change from previous UC revolvers is the brand-new S&W enhanced J-Frame synthetic boot grip. Smith & Wesson beefed up the material around the tang and added textured panels. These additions help with recoil absorption and grip control while still offering plenty of space for speed loaders.
