The alluring Czech-made Pistollo 77 9mm pistol-caliber carbine is headed to the States in 2026.

Pistollo, a small startup from the Zlín Region in the Czech Republic, partnered with Deluxe Imports as its new U.S. distributor for the elegant semi-automatic Pistollo 77. Pistollo lists 3D printing as part of the gun’s manufacturing process.

The build materials are a combination of steel and dur-al (duralumin), a lightweight aluminum alloy made with copper and often small amounts of magnesium and manganese.

The first “Launch Edition” guns are slated to arrive sometime in the second quarter of 2026 for the initial rollout. Early in 2025, the Pistollo 77 secured ATF approval for importation. The company is currently only taking pre-orders for the peculiar PCC.

Pistollo says it already has some 2,000 excited American buyers lined up.

With company core values like “innovation, design, craftsmanship, emotions, and enthusiasm,” it’s not surprising that Pistollo has a rather space-chic vibe. Yet, there is something oddly familiar about the Pistollo 77’s layout.

Pistollo modified a few parts of its design before entering the U.S. market. Significantly, it removed the stock and added a rear Picatinny mounting rail for a stabilizing brace to make the Pistollo 77 a true pistol under U.S. law.

This avoided the NFA’s short-barreled rifle restrictions, and Pistollo claims it has a custom brace of its own on the way.

Pistollo’s sales page states that the 77 has “a unique recoil-dampening system, making the recoil virtually unnoticeable, making it suitable even for women.” The gun has three safety features: a barrel cover that prevents it from being unlocked until removed, a trigger mechanism with a mechanical firing pin block, and an AR-style safety lever.

The company also redesigned the top receiver with a Picatinny rail for more optics options. The muzzle will be threaded at 1/2x28 TPI for imported models.
