Just in time for SHOT Show 2026, budget shotgun maker TriStar has dropped a new 20-gauge over/under with a thumbhole stock design geared toward adaptability in the field. At 6 pounds, the light Upland Hunter Thumbhole Stock is engineered for gobbler hunters spending long days in the blind or trekking.

The over/under barrel configuration means two different chokes can be used at the same time, while the tang safety doubles as a barrel selector to let the shooter choose which barrel to fire. Using a tighter choke for longer shots and a more open choke for closer quarters eliminates the need to change chokes in the field and increases the gun’s range.

With chrome-lined barrels and a ventilated rib with a fiber-optic front sight, the Upland Hunter Thumbhole Stock comes with five Beretta and Benelli-style Mobil choke tubes: SK, IC, M, IM, and F.

Mossy Oak Greenleaf furniture is paired with a bronze-finished receiver for a classic hunting aesthetic that conceals well. With the simple, proven reliability and easy maintenance of the over/under break action design, this TriStar promises confidence in the field. MSRP on the TriStar Arms Upland Hunter Thumbhole Stock is set at $879.
