Beretta’s New 694 Black DLC Sporting Shotgun is Styled for Smashing Clays
Beretta has upgraded one of its most trusted clay-shooting over/under shotguns for 2026 while taking into account input from professional shooters. The 694 Black DLC builds on the 694 platform with improvements including Beretta’s Steelium Pro barrels and a slick diamond-like carbon finish that means this gun is tough as nails.

Shooters are promised natural shouldering, quick target acquisition, and precise swings with the 694 Black DLC’s modified tapered top rib, now with a 10x7mm profile and tramline. The Steelium Pro barrels use an extended forcing cone up to 450mm on a 76cm barrel for reduced recoil, tighter patterns, and consistent performance no matter the ammunition.
The B-Fast Balance System allows micro-adjustments to barrel and stock weight distribution. A beautiful European 2.5+ grade walnut stock mates with a blacked-out DLC finish highlighted by acid-green accents on the receiver for a classy yet modern aesthetic. The gun will be available in 28, 30, and 32-inch barrel lengths.
This competition-ready 12-gauge brings a “fusion of craftsmanship, innovation, and shooter-driven design,” Beretta spokesman Caleb McMillen stated in an announcement about the new model. “We wanted to give competitors a shotgun that's not only faster and more durable, but one that feels purpose-built the moment it hits their shoulder."
MSRP on the new 694 Black DLC is $6,599, but as they say, the more money you spend, the happier you’ll be. Stay tuned as we bring you more info from SHOT Show 2026, but meanwhile, here's a brief intro on the gun from Beretta:
