Tennessee-based S&W has introduced a new Carry Comp model in 10mm, featuring the company's PowerPort vented barrel and ClearSight Cut.
The new 10mm M&P Carry Comp joins the company's 9mm offerings in the same format and, in addition to the recoil-tamping compensator, features a 15+1 flush-fit magazine capacity, a flat-face trigger, an optics cut, and night sights.
With a 4-inch barrel, the new 10mm M&P Carry Comp has an overall length of 7.25 inches. The striker-fired polymer-framed full-sized pistol weighs 27 ounces, unloaded. Note the ClearSight Cut, which allows an unobstructed view of the Ameriglo Trooper front night sight, complementing a blacked-out serrated U-notch rear sight. (Photos: S&W)
Its strategically designed Power Port, located at the end of its 4-inch barrel at the 12 o'clock position, directs gas upwards, thereby reducing felt recoil and improving overall control.
Smith also carries a whole line of 9mm Carry Comp models as well.
The new 10mm M&P Carry Comp pistol ships with two magazines, four interchangeable grip inserts, and has an MSRP of $799.
