Retay Launches New Asend Hunter, Sporter .22 LR Bolt-Action Rifles
Budget-friendly gunmaker Retay has two new bolt-action rimfires on the market for fans of the small but mighty .22 LR. The Retay Asend Hunter and Sporter rifles are budget-friendly rimfires with some high-end traits.
The Hunter will come with a Turkish walnut stock, and the Sporters will feature synthetic stocks, with black as the current color option. The guns are made with Retay’s precision-drilled special alloy barrels and feature hard-chrome bolt actions with three-stage, adjustable trigger groups that are interchangeable with Remington 700 triggers.
"The Asend represents Retay's commitment to delivering precision-grade firearms at accessible prices," said Michael Narus, VP of sales for RETAY. "We've equipped the Asend with features you'd expect to find on rifles costing twice as much – our precision-drilled barrels, adjustable triggers, hard-chrome action, and threaded barrel come standard. Whether you're competing in NRL22 matches, training new shooters on fundamentals, or pursuing small game, the ASEND delivers the accuracy and reliability you need. And with .22 LR pricing, you can shoot all day without emptying your wallet."

The free-floating barrels are threaded with the common 1/2x28 TPI for suppressors and muzzle devices. There will be two barrel lengths available: 20 and 16 inches. Retay’s Asend rifles are also compatible with the popular and reliable Ruger 10/22 rotary magazines.
The synthetic Sporter model has an MSRP of $399, and the walnut Hunter is set at $509.
