Armasight Intros Pro Series Thermals: Built on Gen 4 ArmaCore Tech
Armasight revealed its next-gen Pro Series thermal imaging platform, built on fourth-generation ArmaCore technology, during the firearms industry’s SHOT Show 2026 event in Las Vegas this week.
The company is a leader in the field of professional-grade thermal and night-vision technology. Its new Pro Series uses Armasight’s Gen 4 ArmaCore 640 A-SWaP thermal and video engine. This integrates “advanced processing, real-time intelligent scene optimization, and an efficient system architecture into a unified platform.”
All that fancy language translates into a system that provides enhanced image clarity and responsiveness for the end user.
The system is also more power-efficient and still offers a more accurate and distinct heat signature with smoother target tracking than previous designs. Improved image refreshing further enhances the user’s situational awareness.

We’ve put some of the company’s previous equipment to the test, and it really is a game changer in the world of advanced imaging and optics.
Here are some key features of the new tech:
Full HD video output with HDR support
H.265 compression for efficient, high-quality recording and streaming
Integrated dynamic audio capture for contextual playback and evidence review
USB-C connectivity for data transfer, firmware updates, and power delivery
Pro Series devices are IP67 waterproof. They are also tested under heavy recoil and in extreme temperature conditions.
“The Pro Series represents the culmination of Armasight’s commitment to pushing the limits of what’s possible in thermal imaging. By integrating advanced processing power with AI-driven image enhancement, we’ve created a platform that delivers sharper clarity, greater situational awareness, and uncompromising durability. This is the next step in giving professionals true confidence in the dark,” said Steve Lemenov, senior director of marketing for Armasight.
The company builds and tests all its Pro Series devices in the U.S. at its Tempe, Arizona, facility.
