Christensen Arms Fills Wish Lists for the Dangerous Game Hunter
I always enjoy visiting Christensen Arms, and this year at SHOT Show 2026 was no different. The company’s quality and attention to detail is second to none, and that dedication is evident in the new models they showed us.
Ridgeline Safari
The new Ridgeline Safari is based on Christensen’s most popular rifle, the Ridgeline, but it has been modified for dangerous game hunting. It’s chambered in .375 H&H with a safari-style walnut stock, which is a big departure for Christensen.

The company is known for its lightweight carbon-fiber stocks, but designers wanted the added weight to help tame the .375 H&H on this model. The more traditional look also appeals to the big game hunter crowd, but you still get all the great technology of Christensen Arms in a reliable and hyper-accurate gun.
We’re told the Ridgeline Safari will be available soon.
Modern Carbon Rifle
Christensen has launched several new chamberings in its Modern Carbon Rifle. The MCR is an upgrade from the Ridgeline, featuring a more ergonomic stock and vertical grip angle, with an adjustable comb and length of pull, all in lightweight carbon fiber. It also has M-LOK slots and a Picatinny rail, and I like the wider forend for more stability from supported positions.

The receiver is a Model 23 push-feed action that feeds from a box magazine. Overall weight is just over 6 pounds on a short-action magnum cartridge.
The MCR is not new, so its expanded list of 21 calibers is available now, with MSRP starting at $2,399.
Outland Colors
Christensen is shaking up its catalog with four new hydro-dip colorways called the Outland Colors. These fresh patterns offer colors to blend with a variety of environments and are sure to appeal to hunters.
Company reps tell me that Christensen has a lot of new products on the drawing board, so expect big things from them next year.
