Taurus Shows off New TX9 Pistols, 20th Anniversary Judge at SHOT
Taurus came to SHOT Show 2026 this month with a refreshed handgun lineup that included the new TX9 series pistols as well as a salute to the now-classic Judge revolver line.
TX9
Building on the popular TX22 platform, Taurus introduced the new TX9 pistol in 9mm. It features a serialized modular chassis, allowing users to easily change frame sizes. The new TX9 striker-fired pistol comes in full-size (4.5"), compact (4"), and subcompact (3.4") versions with standard (17, 15, 13-round) or low-capacity (10-round) magazines.
All models feature TORO optics-ready plates, Glock-style steel sights, trigger safety levers, three adjustable backstraps, accessory rails, ambidextrous slide catches, and reversible magazine releases. (Photos: Chris Eger/Guns.com)
The chassis system, like SIG’s P365 and P320, lets users move the serialized fire control unit between grip modules.
MSRP is $499.99, with street prices around $450 or lower. Taurus tells us these guns will be assembled in America.
20th Anniversary Judge
Celebrating the 1996 introduction of the Judge .410/.45 caliber revolver, Taurus for 2026 has a special commemorative edition honoring one of its most recognizable and best-selling handguns of the past quarter century.
The stainless-steel frame and cylinder are engraved on both sides, elevating the Judge to presentation-grade status.
The left side of the barrel proudly bears the “20th Anniversary” designation, while the right side features the handgun’s iconic name.
Completing the tribute, the premium wood grips are engraved with a detailed gavel motif, a nod to the Judge’s unmistakable identity.
Running a 3-inch barrel and able to accept 2.5-inch .410 shells, the 5-shot Taurus 20th Anniversary Judge has a very specific MSRP of $681.99.
