Our go-to for tactical yet stylish apparel and gear, 5.11 Tactical, has several new additions to its catalog for 2026, and we have the highlights for you.
LVC12
5.11 specializes in gear that is highly functional but not overtly tactical, and that’s just what the new LVC12 backpack brings to the company’s load-bearing bag lineup. This “urban-friendly” pack is designed for pretty much any activity where a backpack is helpful – from travel to hiking to the daily commute.
The LVC12 has a laptop sleeve, a fleece-line sunglasses pocket, a hidden zipper stash pocket, and stretch pockets for your water bottle. On top of all that, it fills your CCW needs with an ambidextrous side-entry handgun compartment with a removable holster strap. You can also attach an LVC6 waist pack for more storage. For $160, this bag packs a lot of features into a light but tough exterior.
Skyweight Survival Plus Chest Pack 2L
Fans of the Skyweight chest pack introduced last year will be glad to know there’s a new, larger option in the Skyweight Survival Plus Chest Pack 2L, with more room for keeping critical gear readily accessible. The pouch offers organizational pockets as well as an ambidextrous CCW compartment that will fit a full-size handgun, and it uses durable aluminum hardware and quick-release closures.
AMP12 and AMP24
5.11 first released the All Missions collection bags in 2018, but after fading from the company’s lineup, the design is back by popular demand in a limited run of two sizes with three colors each. The new AMP12 and AMP24 use 5.11’s patented Hexgrid technology, which is a load-bearing system that allows you to attach pouches at various angles to your pack.
These packs will be available starting in March, in your choice of Black, Ranger Green, or Kangaroo. The AMP12 has a 25-liter capacity, while the AMP24 comes in at 32L. Production is limited to 511 units of each color and size; so, if you want one, better order as soon as they become available (no exact date yet as of SHOT, but look for these next month).
Peak Cargo Pant
Also new for 2026, the Peak Cargo Pant is the best-looking and most durable cargo pant we’ve seen in a while. The Enduro-Flex fabric is strong but surprisingly soft, with double layers for reinforcement in high-wear areas. Velcro and zipper closures keep the pockets secure, and mesh side vents offer breathability.
New Women’s Apparel
5.11 offers a large selection of women’s apparel, and a couple of new items stood out at SHOT Show: the new Valkyrie Tights and High Atlas Insulated Full Zip Jacket. The Valkyrie hiking/trekking tights are designed to be rugged and durable yet comfortable and breathable.
For stylish but functional cold-weather wear, it’s hard to beat the new High Atlas jacket. This hooded jacket features a quilted pattern on water-resistant fabric with lightweight PrimaLoft insulation, as well as zippered pockets for securing necessities.
