New: Heritage Rough Rider Revolver in .32 H&R Magnum
Georgia-based Heritage Manufacturingcame to the NRA Annual Meeting last week with a new model Rough Rider single-action revolver in .32 H&R Magnum.
The Rough Rider series has long been a staple on the market for .22 LR and .22 WMR rimfire single actions. Now, Heritage has upped the ante with a centerfire option, adding more power and versatility to this cowboy-style wheel gun. At launch, the new revolver will be offered with a 6.5-inch barrel and a steel frame and cylinder.
Whether for range use, small game, or simply appreciating the feel of a single-action revolver, this new offering brings classic Western style to the table. Overall length is 11.78 inches, while weight is 35.6 ounces, unloaded. (Photos: Don Summers/Guns.com)
The design retains the classic Colt Single Action Army style, appealing to enthusiasts of traditional handguns, but sports modern amenities, including a manual safety tab that can be flipped up or down, with a red indicator showing when the gun is ready to fire.
This safety bar prevents the hammer from striking when engaged, a feature not present in the original 150-year-old design.
The MSRP of the new Heritage Rough Rider in .32 H&R Magnum is a very affordable $257.99.
