Meet the Improved Taurus New Judge Series in .410/.45 Colt
Honoring two decades of enduring popularity with the innovative wheel gun, Taurushas updated the Judge for 2026 with new sights, grips, and hammer, among other enhancements.
The Judge was officially introduced in 2006, making this year the platform's 20th anniversary. Now the gun is ready for today's market with a new look and upgraded features.
Chief among the changes on the New Judge are a drift-adjustable rear sight and fiber-optic front sight instead of the old gutter sight arrangement familiar to legacy guns. Next is a redesigned grip to give the user more control. The hammer has been redesigned and re-profiled, while a new, slightly angled trigger makes the double-action pull easier. The cylinder release has also been redesigned with better ergonomics in mind, specifically a flat back, to make it easier to use.

Also, you get a great pair of sights. Little-known fact outside of Judge users is that the revolver has a great reputation for accuracy with .45 Colt rounds. The new sights should help build on that.
Users still get the classic five-shot cylinder with a ball detent style lockup chambered in .410 bore (2.5 inch) and .45 Colt. Two-tone 3-inch model shown.
All models of the New Judge use a stainless-steel barrel, this time with an aluminum shroud.
At launch, the New Judge will be offered in 3- and 6-inch barrel lengths and with a choice of all-black or two-tone finishes, giving the public four models to choose from.
The MSRP on the Taurus New Judge will be $699 for the 3-inch models and $719 on the 6-inchers.
