Brian Miller showed up at a recent lever-action training day with Chris Costa with his beautifully modified Henry X Model chambered in .30-30 Winchester. He shared the build with us.
 

CHOPPED DOWN BARREL

The original Henry X Model .30-30 shipped with a 21.375-inch barrel. Miller had Louthan Gunworks chop that down to 16.5-inches and thread it for a suppressor. The barrel and action were Cerakoted in OD (olive drab) green. A black Ranger Point Precision Comet Brake was added to the end of the barrel.

A Ranger Point Precision rail M-LOK Rail was installed along with a Ranger Point Precision Quiver to hold six extra rounds of .30-30. Miller was shooting Fiocchi 150-grain PSP rounds.

RED DOT

A Ranger Point Precision Quick Takedown Screw was added just below the trigger. Miller decided to keep the stock trigger. Atop the action, he added the Ranger Point Precision Rhino Rail and mounted a Primary Arms SLx RS-10 red-dot optic. "It is amazing how nice this optic is. It has held zero very well. I've put a lot of rounds through it. I've got to have a couple of these now," Miller said.
 

MODULAR BUTTSTOCK

On the back of the rifle was the Ranger Point Precision Modular Buttstock and a quiver for six rounds. The buttstock is adjustable with four Allen-head screws. "You can adjust the cant of it to get proper eye alignment with the optic. It runs like a champ. This gun is awesome, guys," said Miller.
