As a woman and a certified firearm instructor, I can assure you that a woman can shoot any handgun a man can. So, why would I write about the best handguns for women? Because sometimes there happen to be better choices for those of us with smaller hands. 

Does that mean that a man shouldn’t buy a handgun on this “best of” list? Of course not; they’re great choices for men, too. Will they all be pink or colored in Muddy Girl camo? Absolutely not! Will they be great choices for those of us with smaller hands, with a few super stylish, yet accurate and quality handguns thrown in? Look for yourself.

Most of these choices were selected with an eye toward concealed carry, but they’re all solid choices whether you’re looking for concealed carry or home defense purposes.
