In a world of reduced-backpressure, flow-through suppressors, HUXWRX is owed great credit for pioneering the science behind the tech. One of the company’s newest cans, the Flow 9K Ti, not only encapsulates that flow-through concept but is also one of the most versatile 9mm suppressors on the market. Built using the best and most advanced manufacturing techniques, the Flow 9K Ti is arguably the best 9mm suppressor available today.

Quick Summary: Developed by the pioneers of flow-through suppressor technology, the new 3D-printed HUXWRX Flow 9K Ti sets a new standard for pistol suppressors.

Overview

HUXWRX suppressors are famous for their flow-through technology and open end caps designed to push the gasses and sound away from the shooter. As safety devices, not only are suppressors designed to reducing hearing damage, but modern designs also focus on keeping toxic particles from vented gas away from the shooter’s face.

The HUXWRX Flow 9k Ti represents the forefront of suppressor design with some of the most advanced manufacturing techniques available. The Flow 9k Ti is the company’s entrance into the world of 3D printing. This manufacturing technology means suppressors can be made of lightweight materials without sacrificing sturdiness, thanks to the natural strength of a one-piece suppressor.

Additionally, the baffle system can be more complex, which further reduces sound and backpressure. Together, these factors form a great 9mm can.

Features

This fully 3D-printed can is constructed of grade 5 titanium, the strongest available. While it’s designed for 9mm, the Flow 9k Ti is one of the most versatile suppressors on the market – rated for .17 HMR, .22 LR, 5.7x28, 9mm, .300 Blackout (sub and supersonic, with no barrel restriction), and .350 Legend.

While designed for 9mm, the Flow 9k Ti supports a impressive range of calibers including .300 Blackout.

The shocking caliber on that list is .300 Blackout, sub and supersonic. I can’t think of a single other can that does both 9mm and supersonic .300 Blackout, much less a titanium can – and all with no barrel length restrictions. Not to mention, this suppressor is full-auto rated in accordance with standards set by USSOCOM’s stress testing.

The HUB-compatible design makes it easy to move the suppressor to various platforms.

Importantly, the Flow 9k Ti is HUB compatible, which makes it easy to install a piston for handguns and standard mounts for things like .300 Blackout rifles or large-format pistols with fixed barrels. This suppressor also sports a C-Series Cerakote meant to stand up to high heat.

The Flow 9k Ti gets its name from the flow-through design. In keeping with HUXWRX philosophy, this suppressor pushes the gas forward while reducing sound and felt recoil.

Performance

I gave the HUXWRX Flow 9k Ti quite the workout on the range, pairing it with a host of platforms and calibers. I can’t recall coming across another can designed for 9mm that is this versatile, and I am extremely impressed.

Sound reduction was impressive all around, from 9mm up through supersonic .300 Blackout.

The first noticeable feature is the lightweight nature of the titanium. From handgun to rifle, this suppressor does not add weight. The second thing I noticed was the sound reduction, as I expected a flow-through can to be much louder. I was shocked by how quiet it was, from 9mm to .300 Blackout. (Okay, the .300 supers were a little loud, but overall, it was impressive.)

While this can does not have a Pew Science rating yet, HUXWRX boasts that all its suppressor designs test at under 140 decibels on the intended host platform.

And you'll barely notice the added 5 ounces on the end of a handgun.

The third glaring observation is the reduced backpressure. From shooting an AR to holding a braced Taurus GX4 Bravo, I did not feel any gas being vented into my face, which is impressive. Even when shooting the full-auto MP5k, there was nothing.

Pros & Cons

I am blown away by the versatility and durability of this can. I expected it to perform well on the 9mm handguns, but full-auto fire on a titanium can is so impressive, especially in a short MP5k configuration.

Even in full auto with an MP5k, performance from this titanium can was remarkable.

The suppressor chewed through everything like a champ. In fact, I was nervous about the .300 Blackout supersonics in a 7.5-inch barrel, because I was positive that I was going to shoot the can off. Yet, whether supers or subs, the Flow 9k Ti isn’t messing around.

The other nice thing about this suppressor is the HUB compatibility. This allows me to easily move it from platform to platform without worrying about piston spacers or thread pitches. Overall, the Flow 9k Ti was a total blast to take to the range, and I can’t think of any improvements I would make to this suppressor.

Pros:

  • Lightweight
  • Modular with the end caps and HUB
  • Quiet
  • Reduced backpressure
  • Caliber rating versatility
  • Durability

Cons:

  • Price is about the only thing to pick on with this suppressor, and the price is not even that bad.

Conclusion

I am not sure that there is a better 9 mm suppressor than the HUXWRX Flow 9k Ti. From its durability, versatility, and performance, it’s in a class of its own.

It’s exciting to see suppressor companies use advanced modern manufacturing techniques like 3D printing. This HUXWRX suppressor marks the future of suppressor manufacturing, which is perfect for a market that is about to explode once the $200 NFA tax stamp is removed. HUXWRX knocked it out of the park, and you can have total confidence in this suppressor.
