The Browning Superposed Special Trap Diana Grade is a highly desirable over-under shotgun that combines Browning's legendary craftsmanship with exceptional collector appeal. Built on the iconic Superposed (B25) platform, this 12-gauge features 26.5-inch fixed Improved Modified choked barrels, a 2¾-inch chamber, and a 13.75" length of pull, offering excellent balance and handling characteristics for trap shooting and sporting use.
A standout feature of this shotgun is its impressive deep-relief game scene engraving, depicting hunting scenes surrounded by intricate acanthus scrollwork consistent with the renowned Diana Grade (D4G) pattern. No engraver's signature was located, though the special engraving was completed by Kurt Yeager in Germany circa 1967–1968, adding further intrigue and potential collector interest.
Beyond its striking appearance, the Superposed is celebrated for its durability, smooth operation, and timeless design. The shotgun shoulders naturally and exhibits the refined feel that has made the Superposed a benchmark among premium over-under shotguns for generations.
