Seller Description For This Firearm

PHP MV-9: The First Croatian Pistol
The Croatian-made Model PHP 9mm Pistol was designed in 1990 for the Croatian Military after gaining their independence from Yugoslavia. Manufactured for only 4 years between 1990 and 1994 by IM Metallic, the PHP pistol was a mixture of design elements taken from the Walther P-38 and Beretta Model 92, among others, and used a locking-block action. The model name "PHP" stands for "Prvi Hrvatski Pistolj", which translates to "First Croatian Pistol". The very unique-looking pistol was by all accounts a good weapon; proving itself to be reliable, accurate, and relatively well-made during it's service life. This particular example is a 9mm Model PHP MV and is in excellent all-original condition. As you can see from the pictures, the blue finish is in excellent condition and shows only a few tiny handling marks. The bore in this pistol is minty and pristine with no imperfections. The original grips are also in excellent condition and free from any wear, cracks, chips, or repairs. All of the controls on this pistol are in perfect working order, and this Model PHP should function just as well today as the day it left the factory. It comes with one original 15-round factory magazine that is numbered to the gun. If you have been looking for something interesting and different for your gun collection this Croatian Military Model PHP MV 9mm Pistol would be a great choice.

Shopping at Guns.com gives you the backing of a company that is committed to your satisfaction.  And unlike our competitors, it extends beyond the buying process.  We get the FFL from your store – others make you find it, copy it, and fax it.  We have a generous return policy, and handle everything – you don’t have to go back to the store.  And our Rangemasters are here to answer all your questions about our products or process.  We're bringing a level of service to the online gun buying experience that is unheard of.

WE SUPPORT LOCAL GUN STORES

Many online gun sales actually take away from your local community.  Instead of buying a gun that’s on your local store’s shelf, most retailers drop ship it from a warehouse in another state.  At Guns.com, if an FFL is part of our network, we sell THEIR guns first whenever possible.  That way, we’re helping small businesses in your community AND if they have it in stock, you can pick your gun up IMMEDIATELY – it’s how business should be done.

WE KEEP IT SIMPLE
WE KEEP IT SIMPLE

Most everything can be easily bought online these days.  But for some reason, buying a gun online can be complicated.  Most websites are poorly organized, don’t tell you a lot about what you’re buying, and leave you on your own to figure out what you want.  Guns.com is built to be simple – easily organized products, useful descriptions from experts, and support to guide you to the right choice.  Spend your time enjoying the gun you want, not getting frustrated with a complex website that makes gun buying hard.
