GLOCK 17 Gen5 — Full‑Size 9mm Duty Pistol
The GLOCK 17 Gen5 refines the platform with ergonomics and speed improvements aimed at duty and defensive use. The frame eliminates finger grooves for a more universal grip while three interchangeable backstraps allow the grip profile to be tailored to different hands. A flared magwell and a front‑of‑frame cutout accelerate reloads when every fraction of a second counts.
Controls accommodate both hands: the magazine catch is enlarged and reversible for user‑level change, and the slide stop lever is ambidextrous. Barrel work includes a slightly revised rifling profile and a reworked crown to enhance precision and consistency shot to shot.

The new frame design of the Glock 17 Gen5 removed the finger grooves for more versatility but still allows to easily customize its grip by using the different back straps.
A flared mag-well and a cutout at the front of the frame give the user more speed during reloading when fractions of a second matter. A reversible enlarged magazine catch changeable at user level as well as the ambidextrous slide stop lever accommodate left and right-handed operators. The rifling and the crown of the barrel were slightly modified for increased precision. Includes three 17-round magazines.
