The GLOCK 19X V is a modern evolution of the classic "crossover" design, specifically engineered to integrate anti-tamper features that distinguish it from the original military-trial version. This model retains the iconic Coyote Tan nPVD finish and the high-capacity Glock 17 frame paired with a compact Glock 19 slide, but introduces critical internal updates to the slide and trigger housing to prevent the installation of unauthorized conversion devices. Externally, the "V" series often features a refined magwell that removes the original 19X "front lip," allowing for seamless compatibility with all generations of Glock 17 magazines, including standard Gen 5 basepads. Equipped with the Glock Marksman Barrel (GMB) and factory night sights, the 19X V offers a duty-ready, high-performance platform that balances the handling of a compact pistol with the firepower and grip leverage of a full-sized sidearm.
