Notes:
The Stevens Model 58 is a classic American bolt-action shotgun from an era when utility, simplicity, and affordability defined working firearms. Manufactured by Stevens/Savage Arms in the mid-20th century, the Model 58 reflects a time when bolt-action shotguns were common tools for hunting, farm use, and general purpose shooting across rural America. While semi-automatics and pump guns would eventually dominate the shotgun market, these old bolt guns developed a reputation for rugged dependability and straightforward operation. Today, they carry a strong nostalgic charm that appeals to collectors, hunters, and anyone who appreciates vintage American firearms with honest character.

This example appears to be very well cared for, particularly in the condition of its wood furniture, which remains in excellent shape and gives the shotgun the warm, classic look these older Stevens firearms are known for. The bolt-action system is simple and reliable, and the shotgun feeds from a detachable magazine, believed to be the original 3-round configuration. Its slim profile and traditional styling make it feel distinctly different from modern tactical shotguns, leaning instead into old-school Americana and practical field use. The blued steel paired with the well-preserved wood stock and forend gives this shotgun a timeless appearance that would feel right at home in a deer camp or mounted above a fireplace. This listing includes the Stevens Model 58 bolt-action shotgun and detachable magazine only, with no case or carrying bag included.

WE SUPPORT LOCAL GUN STORES

Many online gun sales actually take away from your local community.  Instead of buying a gun that’s on your local store’s shelf, most retailers drop ship it from a warehouse in another state.  At Guns.com, if an FFL is part of our network, we sell THEIR guns first whenever possible.  That way, we’re helping small businesses in your community AND if they have it in stock, you can pick your gun up IMMEDIATELY – it’s how business should be done.

WE KEEP IT SIMPLE
WE KEEP IT SIMPLE

Most everything can be easily bought online these days.  But for some reason, buying a gun online can be complicated.  Most websites are poorly organized, don’t tell you a lot about what you’re buying, and leave you on your own to figure out what you want.  Guns.com is built to be simple – easily organized products, useful descriptions from experts, and support to guide you to the right choice.  Spend your time enjoying the gun you want, not getting frustrated with a complex website that makes gun buying hard.
