The LMT Defense Defender-H CQB MWS in .308 Win is the civilian counterpart to the battle-proven L129A1 Reference Rifle developed for the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence. Built around LMT’s patented Modular Weapon System, the monolithic upper receiver is machined from a single aluminum forging for exceptional strength and rigidity.

An uninterrupted 12 o’clock Picatinny rail with additional rails at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions ensures seamless mounting of optics and accessories. LMT’s proprietary quick-change barrel system allows caliber swaps using two side-access bolts. The lower receiver features a precision EDM-cut two-stage trigger, an ambidextrous safety & mag release, SOPMOD stock, QD sling endplate, and LMT ergonomic grip—delivering combat-ready performance in a refined civilian package.
