The Remington Model 12 is a popular pump-action .22 caliber rimfire rifle designed by legendary firearms inventor John Pedersen.
Introduced in 1909 and produced until 1936 by the Remington Arms Company, the Model 12A served as the standard base-grade version of this iconic series.
Production and DesignDesigner: John Pedersen created the hammerless, solid-breech slide-action design.Run: Roughly 832,000 total Model 12 rifles were manufactured.
12A Specs: The Model 12A featured a standard 22-inch round barrel and a straight-grip walnut stock.Takedown: It featured a take-down design allowing the user to separate the rifle into two halves quickly via a thumb screw.
