Seller Description For This Firearm

Winchester Model 12- Pump Rifle

Hammerless Design: Unlike many competing vintage pump-actions, it has an enclosed, hammerless action that presents a sleek, snag-free profile.

Takedown Capability: The rifle easily breaks down into two halves—the receiver/stock and the barrel/forearm—without tools by unscrewing a thumb-screw bolt on the left side of the receiver, making it ideal for transport.

Solid Breech & Side Ejection: The top and rear of the receiver are completely enclosed, protecting the shooter's face from debris. Spent casings eject through a unique teardrop-shaped port on the right side.

Slide Release: A small button located near the front of the trigger guard or inside the receiver lets you cycle the pump without needing to pull the trigger.

Safety Mechanism: Includes a cross-bolt safety located at the rear of the trigger guard.

Caliber & Capacity: Chambers .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle cartridges (holding 14, 11, and 10 rounds, respectively, in its tubular magazine).

Loading: Cartridges are loaded through an opening in the under-barrel magazine tube by twisting and withdrawing the inner magazine plunger.

Materials: Features a walnut stock, steel receiver, and typically a crescent or gently concave metal buttplate.

Barrel Styles: Standard variants (Model 12A) came with a 22-inch round barrel, while target and gallery models featured 24-inch barrels, often in an octagonal profile.

Shopping at Guns.com gives you the backing of a company that is committed to your satisfaction.  And unlike our competitors, it extends beyond the buying process.  We get the FFL from your store – others make you find it, copy it, and fax it.  We have a generous return policy, and handle everything – you don’t have to go back to the store.  And our Rangemasters are here to answer all your questions about our products or process.  We're bringing a level of service to the online gun buying experience that is unheard of.

WE SUPPORT LOCAL GUN STORES

Many online gun sales actually take away from your local community.  Instead of buying a gun that’s on your local store’s shelf, most retailers drop ship it from a warehouse in another state.  At Guns.com, if an FFL is part of our network, we sell THEIR guns first whenever possible.  That way, we’re helping small businesses in your community AND if they have it in stock, you can pick your gun up IMMEDIATELY – it’s how business should be done.

WE KEEP IT SIMPLE
WE KEEP IT SIMPLE

Most everything can be easily bought online these days.  But for some reason, buying a gun online can be complicated.  Most websites are poorly organized, don’t tell you a lot about what you’re buying, and leave you on your own to figure out what you want.  Guns.com is built to be simple – easily organized products, useful descriptions from experts, and support to guide you to the right choice.  Spend your time enjoying the gun you want, not getting frustrated with a complex website that makes gun buying hard.
