The Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport II is a lightweight, semi-automatic sporting rifle chambered in 5.56×45mm NATO, and it is also compatible with .223 Remington ammunition. It features a 16-inch barrel, a 30-round detachable magazine and a direct-impingement gas operating system. Built with forged aluminum upper and lower receivers, the rifle includes a collapsible six-position stock, forward assist, and dust cover. Known for its reliability, accuracy, and modular AR-15 platform, the M&P15 Sport II is widely used for recreational target shooting, training, competition, and varmint hunting.
