Winner of multiple 2020 âHandgun of the Yearâ awards from well-known firearms organizations like the NRA and the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) and boasting a 20,000-round durability count, the Springfield Hellcat redefined the standards for what a conceal carry pistol should bring to the table.
The Hellcat Rapid Defense Package (RDP) pushes the performance of the Hellcat line even further with a host of upgrades. The pistol features Springfieldâs self-indexing compensator that allows for easy installation and removal and helps to tame the muzzle climb and recoil that is common among smaller subcompact pistols. The RDP also comes optics-ready out of the box with an RMS/SMS footprint that can accommodate any matching optic or Springfieldâs Wasp-series micro red dots.
The Hellcat has been updated to feature Springfieldâs Generation 2 trigger that has been recontoured for improved ergonomics. This model features a Hex Wasp reflex sight mounted to the slide and a manual thumb safety. One 11-round and 13-round magazine is included along with a soft case for storage and transportation.
