The Walther P22 Black CA is a compact, California-compliant semi-automatic rimfire pistol designed for affordable training, recreational shooting, and introducing new shooters to handguns. Chambered in .22 Long Rifle, it features a lightweight polymer frame, 3.42-inch barrel, 10-round magazine, and a traditional double-action/single-action (DA/SA) trigger with an exposed hammer. The P22 includes ambidextrous manual safeties, an ambidextrous magazine release, interchangeable backstraps for a customized grip, adjustable three-dot sights, and an accessory rail for mounting a light or laser. Styled after Walther's centerfire defensive pistols, the P22 offers excellent ergonomics and controls while producing minimal recoil, making it an ideal choice for target shooting, firearms training, and small-game or pest control. The California model is specifically configured to meet California handgun compliance requirements while retaining the same reliable performance and handling as the standard P22.
