The Walther PPK (Polizeipistole Kriminalmodell) is a compact semi-automatic pistol developed by the German firearms manufacturer Walther in 1931. It was designed as a smaller version of the Walther PP for concealed carry and law enforcement use. The PPK became one of the most recognizable handguns in the world, partly due to its association with the fictional character James Bond.

Uses a blowback operating system.
Chambered in several calibers, most commonly .380 ACP (9mm Kurz) and .32 ACP.
Double-Action/Single-Action (DA/SA) Trigger
First shot can be fired with a longer double-action trigger pull.
Subsequent shots use a lighter single-action trigger pull.
Integrated Safety/Decocker
Manual safety lever also safely lowers the hammer without firing the pistol.
Fixed Barrel Design
Barrel is fixed to the frame rather than moving during operation.
Can contribute to good inherent accuracy.
