The Weatherby Mark XXII is a premium .22 LR rimfire rifle introduced in 1961–62, known for its high-gloss walnut stock, excellent accuracy, and shifting international production origins. Originally produced by Beretta in Italy (1960s), it was later manufactured by KTG and Nikko in Japan (1967–1980s) and Mossberg in the USA, before being discontinued in 1989 and resurrected as a bolt-action in 2007.
