The M85 is an AK-pattern rifle originally developed for the Yugoslavian People's Army and is the shortened version of M80 series of rifles. The M85 is chambered in the common western 5.56x45mm cartridge. Other iconic features include the Yugo-styled handguard with a 3-vent design, an AK-74U-style flash hider, and a reinforced frame made from thicker steel to improve durability. The ZPAP designation is an acronym for "Zastava Polu-Automatska Puška" which means "Zastava Semi-Automatic Rifle", and is the commercial sporting model of the firearm.
This model is a pistol variant that features a picatinny rail for mounting optics. It features an all-black finish with a black pistol grip and black polymer handguard. One 30-round magazine is included.
