In 1945, Roy Weatherby, who was often described as a tinkerer, founded a small sporting goods shop in Southern California. Now located in Wyoming, that humble little shop has become one of the top manufacturers of rifles, shotguns, and ammunition. Weatherby remains a third-generation, family-owned business that holds steadfast to the innovative ideas on which the company was formed.
