The UXR features the patented Barrel Xchange System that allows for quick and seamless changes between calibers such as .223 Wylde, .308 Winchester, .300 AAC Blackout and more. The rifle runs on a modified long stroke piston renowned for its reliability and reduced fouling that has been specifically tailored for use with the UXR platform. To aid in giving users a more positive shooting experience, the UXR also features a unique bore evacuator system that is designed to vent gases away from the shooter. Combined with the 3-position adjustable gas piston, these two features allow the UXR to serve as an excellent platform for suppressors. The included FRC compensator features an external threading and is designed for use with Reardan-type suppressor mounts. Lastly the UXR also sports fully ambidextrous controls including an reversible folding buttstock.
This model is chambered in .223 Wylde and features an all-black finish and a 14.5-inch barrel. The .223 Wylde barrel chambering is compatible with both .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO comes with the muzzle device pinned and welded to the barrel to allow for a legal barrel length. One 30-round magazine is included.
