The Springfield Armory Echelon 4.5F sets a new standard for modern, striker-fired duty pistols. Engineered around a robust, full-size frame and a 4.5-inch hammer-forged barrel, this 9mm handgun is built to deliver maximum control, duty-grade reliability, and superior capacity.
At the heart of the Echelon is the Central Operating Group (COG)—a self-contained, serialized firing mechanism that allows you to easily swap the chassis between different grip modules. Combined with aggressive adaptive grip texturing and interchangeable backstraps, the 4.5F offers an entirely custom fit right out of the box.
This model features Springfield’s revolutionary Variable Interface System (VIS), an optics-mounting platform that uses patent-pending self-locking pins to achieve a low, direct-mount fit for over 30 popular red dot footprints without the need for thick adapter plates. Equipped with a tactical rack U-Dot rear sight, a tritium front sight, and a versatile 17+1 and 20+1 capacity lineup, the Echelon 4.5F is the ultimate choice for home defense, duty use, and tactical shooters alike.
