The Springfield Armory Echelon 4.5F 15-Round model offers an uncompromised full-size duty pistol configuration tailored specifically for shooters in capacity-restricted states. Factory-equipped with two 15-round magazines, this model meets the legal guidelines of 15-round threshold jurisdictions while preserving the exact frame geometry, recoil management, and premium features of Springfield’s flagship striker-fired platform.
At the center of the Echelon's design is the Central Operating Group (COG)—a self-contained, serialized stainless steel chassis that houses the entire firing mechanism. This modular blueprint allows you to easily remove the serialized core and swap between different aftermarket or factory polymer grip modules to perfectly customize the pistol’s fit. The standard full-size frame features aggressive Adaptive Grip Texturing and interchangeable backstraps, ensuring superior weapon control and comfort under demanding conditions.
The billet-machined slide is outfitted with the patent-pending Variable Interface System (VIS), an innovative direct-mount optics framework. By utilizing a system of self-locking pins rather than traditional, thick adapter plates, the VIS allows over 30 popular red dot optics to sit exceptionally low on the slide for an intuitive sight picture and direct co-witnessing. Outfitted with a high-visibility tritium front night sight, a tactical rack U-Dot rear sight, and fully ambidextrous slide stops and magazine releases, the Echelon 4.5F 15-round pistol delivers duty-grade defense wherever compliance matters.
This model is chambered in 9mm Luger and features Springfield's signature u-notch tritium sight. Two 15-round magazines are included along with a Springfield soft pistol case.

Shopping at Guns.com gives you the backing of a company that is committed to your satisfaction. And unlike our competitors, it extends beyond the buying process. We get the FFL from your store – others make you find it, copy it, and fax it. We have a generous return policy, and handle everything – you don’t have to go back to the store. And our Rangemasters are here to answer all your questions about our products or process. We're bringing a level of service to the online gun buying experience that is unheard of.
Many online gun sales actually take away from your local community. Instead of buying a gun that’s on your local store’s shelf, most retailers drop ship it from a warehouse in another state. At Guns.com, if an FFL is part of our network, we sell THEIR guns first whenever possible. That way, we’re helping small businesses in your community AND if they have it in stock, you can pick your gun up IMMEDIATELY – it’s how business should be done.
Most everything can be easily bought online these days. But for some reason, buying a gun online can be complicated. Most websites are poorly organized, don’t tell you a lot about what you’re buying, and leave you on your own to figure out what you want. Guns.com is built to be simple – easily organized products, useful descriptions from experts, and support to guide you to the right choice. Spend your time enjoying the gun you want, not getting frustrated with a complex website that makes gun buying hard.
