Taylors long gun product line has a rifle for every kind of shooting you want to do. The 1892 model is one of the most popular leveractions of all time. It utilizes short cartridges and has a simplified ramp elevator. The Alaskan combines tradition with modern technology creating a fast handling 1892 lever action rifle and is designed specifically for the hunting market. The sights are Skinner Express style while the barrel is drilled and tapped for optics. Its stock and forend are made of wood with overmolded rubber soft touch" finish that is made of antishock rubber and has a padded stock end This model has a 16" octagon barrel and a black metal finish."
