Noveske brings on new president 19 months after owner passes

In January 2013, John “Johnny” Noveske was killed in a car crash in his home state of Oregon, leaving behind family, friends and growing gun company, Noveske Rifleworks.
Like many of the newer gun companies with young and enthusiastic owners, Noveske had a penchant for style by embracing long beards, iron crosses, adventuring and microbrews in its advertisements.
The company’s current owner, Lorina Noveske, announced last week hiring Tim Dillon as the new president and CEO for Noveske, someone she believes will continue the legacy of her late husband.
“Since the passing of my husband, founder of the company that bears our name, it has been my goal to continue the strength, quality, and character of our company’s impeccable product and brand,” Lorina said.
“Not only does [Dillon] bring extensive knowledge of business within the firearms industry, he observantly respects and understands the history of Noveske,” she added. “Mr. Dillon possesses a character that will perpetuate the unique quality and culture of this company, and will capture the enthusiasm of our wonderful customer base.”
“I knew shortly after Lorina Noveske and I talked of bringing me on board, that this is a company that understands and shares my ideals of quality manufacturing and superior customer service,” Dillon said. “I feel honored to be a part of the Noveske Rifleworks family, and very proud to have the opportunity to bring this company to continued levels of success.”
Noveske Rifleworks manufactures ARs and M4s, uppers, lowers, barrels and other accessories.
