Using Salient Arms International features, Canik is set to introduce their all-new TP9 Elite Combat Executive series this week at the NRA Annual Meeting in Indy.

Building on the company’s very popular TP9 series striker-fired semi-automatic polymer-framed pistol chambered in 9mm, the Elite Combat Executive is tricked out with a number of very high-end SAI upgrades. Salient contributed the design to the gun’s fluted and gold PVD-coated match-grade threaded barrel, fiber optic sight set, and aluminum Speed Funnel magazine well.

In addition, the gun comes standard with a host of semi-custom features including an aluminum three-round mag extension, flat-face trigger with a 4.8-pound pull weight and extended mag release. Further, the slide is optics-ready with adapter plates for Docter, Meopta, Insight, and Vortex sights.

The new Canik has a side-reversible, extended magazine release and additional backstrap. With the +3 extension to the standard 15-round mag, it has an 18+1 capacity. The slide small steel parts are nitride-coated while internal components are nitride or high-wear nickel-coated.

The fluted barrel is gold PVD-coated and uses 1/2x28TPI threads, making it suppressor-ready.

The gun ships with a retention holster with slide lock release and has an MSRP of $749.99. On display this week at the 148th NRA Annual Meeting in Indianapolis, it is expected to start shipping to dealers in May.
