New Winchester USA Valor Ammo Salutes the Military
Winchester recently debuted its limited-edition USA Valor line of "military-inspired" ammunition, which pays tribute to American fighting forces while supporting a nonprofit Veterans' program.
Winchester last week announced a $100,000 pledge to the Folds of Honor Foundation, in association with the USA Valor line.
"Winchester has proudly supported our U.S. Warfighters for more than 100 years on battlefields around the world," said Winchester President Brett Flaugher. "We are thankful for the opportunity to take this one step further to support the families of those heroes through our partnership with Folds of Honor."
As noted on its website, Folds of Honor is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of military members who have fallen or been disabled while serving in the U.S. armed forces. "Of the 1 million-plus dependents adversely affected by deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, nearly 9 out of 10 do not qualify for federal scholarship assistance," says the group.

We haven't seen anything odd with the loads, such as cockeyed bullets or flipped primers and every round we have fired has functioned properly. The ballistics table on the side of the box lists the performance as 3,060 fps of velocity at the muzzle, generating 1,289 ft./lbs. of energy, shooting a flat trajectory at 200 yards and down 7 inches at 300.
