One of the coolest things we've seen a gunmaker do in the past few years was SIG's innovative Freedom Days program, and the company has revamped it for a more comprehensive experience.

We were on hand for the first Freedom Days in Arizona last summer, then doubled down on the next installment in New Hampshire. An event open to the public – not restricted to industry insiders – those who paid the price of admission were able to take nearly 50 different SIG firearms for a spin.

However, while last year's Freedom Days participants were only able to put a mag or two through each gun, the upcoming events will be more exclusive and allow a deeper dive. First, they will be limited to just 300 attendees per day. Keep in mind that SIG had almost 5,000 attendees at the Arizona event. This allows SIG to spread the love when it comes to all that beautiful brass.

In addition, there will be one-hour small group courses led by world-class SIG Academy instructors, product experts on hand to answer any questions, celebrity presentations and demos, partners such as Mossberg and Xpedition Archery with their own demos available to go hands-on with, and a "gourmet catered lunch."
