New Hampshire-based SIG Sauer wasn't at the SHOT Show this week, and didn't have any bevy of new releases, but they did put out the best pro-2A spot we've seen in a long time.

With flashbacks to patriots of old, interspersed with waving Gadsden snake, "Join, or Die," and Gonzales "Come and Take It" flags, capped off by a citizen of today and the ol' Red White and Blue, the 1-minute spot debuted on Jan. 24 speaks plain.

"As Americans, we have always despised tyranny. Our Freedoms, cast on an altar of sacrifice, were born from a desire to unite. Those Freedoms have been challenged before, yet they have stood the test of time. Today, our Freedom is once again in question and its future is not promised. To those who may deny and restrict those Freedoms, we say only this: Shall. Not. Be. Infringed."

Sure, it's ultimately an ad for the SIG M400 Tread series, an entry-level AR line that is billed as delivering "All of the freedom, all of the features, with none of the compromises," but you gotta admit, it gives you a bit of a "hell yeah" vibe. The kind of spot you wish would be in the Superbowl if the NFL was cool enough to run that kind of stuff.
