SIG Sauer has teamed up with Flux Defense to market a complete right-out-of-the-box factory Legion P320 pistol paired with a Raider X chassis and stabilizing brace.

Utah-based Flux Defense came on the scene in 2018 and their Raider, then improved Raider X chassis systems which turn a handgun into something very much in the PCC realm have been a "if you know, you know" kind of hit ever since. Case in point, when their promised P365 chassis hit the market a couple of weeks ago, it sold out in just eight minutes.

Now, SIG and Flux have partnered to create the P320 Flux Legion package, which blends all the famed Legion features familiar to fans of that line with one of the most exciting chassis systems in the pistol space. The result gives the user a 60+1 capacity platform that compacts down to 10.9 inches and hits the scales right around the 3-pound mark (unloaded).

We got a sneak peek at the new platform at SIG's Next event in New Hampshire this week.

Standard features include a standard P320 Fire Control Unit outfitted with a Legion series skeletonized trigger, a full-size Legion Gray slide with an integrated compensator/expansion chamber, and a matching Legion Gray Flux Defense chassis with a rapid-deploying stabilizing brace.

Height is 6.1 inches sans magazine, and the overall width is 1.6 inches. The pistol uses a 3.9-inch barrel. Note the expansion chamber/compensator in the slide.

Compared when open and closed, a difference of about 8 inches. Note that the user can always use shorter magazines for tight spaces.

Other features include XRAY3 Day/night sights that co-witness under the optics rail, an ambidextrous dual magazine release system, a front Picatinny mount for accessories, a rear non-reciprocating Picatinny optic mount, an integrated flared magwell, and an ambidextrous safety.

The full build ships fully assembled with a pair of extended 30-round P320 magazines.

“The P320-Flux Legion takes a 9mm handgun, using the SIG Sauer P320 Fire Control Unit, and transforms it into an easily concealed PCC style platform, with the stability of a carbine and loads of Legion upgrades to bring more speed, maneuverability, and control to conceal carry," said Robby Johnson, SIG's CMO. "This build has a long list of features including a single-finger fast-deploying spring brace for rapid deployment, 30-round capacity, an integrated compensator in the custom Legion slide, and a dual-mag release system to get you started. Add to that the endless amounts of customization that can be achieved with the front and rear Picatinny mounts and an ambidextrous safety we are sure that the P320-Flux Legion is destined to be a Legion fan favorite."

As far as price, SIG is always kinda mum when it comes to MSRPs, but a Raider X P320 chassis hit the $540-$650 mark, and the assorted P320 Legion models typically clock in at around $1K, so when you blend the two you get the ballpark.
