It appears as if Mark Zuckerburg’s promise to lift the blinders off the content moderators may just be true, at least for firearms content. Since he made the announcement Jan. 8, we have seen some good gains in Facebook posts, contributing to more likes and followers again. However, nothing really cemented that things were different until we went to SHOT Show and saw the explosive growth of some of our videos.

With some videos reaching into the millions of views in a few short days, we knew we were back. For context, we only had 220,000 views from SHOT last year across all of our entire social media. While we would love to take all the credit due to our great crew, there is no denying the sudden algorithm change. It’s been tremendous growth, it’s overdue, but we’re happy it’s here. Hopefully other social media companies – ahem, YouTube – will take notice and follow suit.

In case you missed us last week on Facebook or you’ve written it off (for good reason) these are our top 5 Facebook posts from SHOT Show 2025 and their current view count.

Q Boombox – 902,000 views

Q showed up and showed out at range day with their new Boombox chambered in 8.6 BLK. No idea when we’ll be able to get our hands on this, but it sure will be a sweet day when we can. Let’s hear it for some full-auto 8.6 fun!
