Trijicon Keeps Quality Glass But Lowers Price on New Optics
From militarycontracts to some of the best red dots on the market, Trijicon has a reputation for quality optics that are extremely durable. At Shot Show 2025, the company decided to bring that same quality and durability to a more budget-friendly price with a few new optic options. While the actual scopes have the same quality glass and clarity as all Trijicon’s other optics, the housing may lack a few features like quick turrets.
Trijicon Ascent 1-6x24
The first new release for 2025 is the Ascent 1-6x24 LPVO. Now, Trijicon does have this same optic in a 1-4 magnification, but this scope answers customer demand for increased magnification on LPVOs.

This optic uses the same glass as the more expensive Trijicon Credo line, just minus a few features such as the quick turrets and the illuminated reticle. This is perfect for those looking for a quality, durable optic that will not break the bank. MSRP on this scope is $735.
Trijicon Ascent 4-16x50
Stepping up from the LPVO, the Ascent line now also includes a more traditional riflescope. Again, Trijicon’s pride is in the clarity and quality of its glass, and the Ascent line does not sacrifice any of that.
Stretching it out a little bit but still keeping a competitive price.
The Ascent 4-16x50 is intended for those looking for a traditional riflescope with a little more reach in zoom than you get from an LPVO. Both new Ascent lines have a simplified reticle with built in .223 BDC holds, making it an easy optic to master. MSRP on this scope is $985.
Trijicon MRO HD
The MRO is an incredible red dot that many people trust, and now the line has expanded with the MRO HD. The new HD line differs from its predecessor by adding the option of a 68-MOA circle around the standard dot. This larger reticle design is popular for close-quarters shooting due to the faster target acquisition.
This is a beautiful optic.
With the HD, you can turn the large dot on or off, so you can still run it like a traditional MRO. The MRO HD does have a package with the lens cap, flash kill, mount, and Trijicon’s 3x magnifier, making it easy to get going right out of the box. MSRP is starting at $1,010.
As to be expected, we saw nothing but quality at the Trijicon SHOT Show booth.
