While B&T is known worldwide for its suppressors, the company impresses us with its firearm designs year after year when we visit its booth at SHOT Show in Las Vegas. For 2025, B&T showed up with reimagined subguns, modernized tactical AR platforms, and more.

Plus, suppressors remain front and center for the company as it supports America’s surging interest in quieter shooting experiences. Here’s a closer look at all the new pew-pew options from B&T this year.

BT-15 Rifles & Pistols

B&T is proud to announce its own line of AR-15s, with five new models that include two enhanced variants. These are direct-impingement, gas-operated rifles and pistols that come with varying barrel lengths.

The really exciting feature is the 3D-printed handguard that hosts M-LOK slots and QD cups. These handguards feature the same technology as the new Print-XH suppressors, which use strong but lightweight titanium. It is incredible to pick up one of these rifles and feel how lightweight B&T was able to make them.

These AR platforms will include an Assault 3P hybrid flash hider and compensator. The bolt carrier group is designed to withstand 140,000 rounds of fire before it needs to be replaced.

B&T teamed up with Geissele Automatics to incorporate the Maritime Bolt Catch, Geissele charging handle, and an enhanced lower parts kit with a flat-faced Super Dynamic Combat Trigger. Additionally, B&T now has its own pistol grip design with a Magpul stock.

SPC223 & APC300 K

The SPC223 is B&T’s take on a modern version of the AR-15. It is almost as if the AR-15 was reimagined from the ground up. This is a short-stroke piston-driven system with a free-float handguard adorned with M-LOK slots and QD cups.

In principle, the idea behind the SPC is that every part that experiences wear is replaceable, making it easy to keep the rifle in service. The firearm is completely ambidextrous and features B&T’s own pistol grip and Magpul stock.

This design also incorporates a hydraulic buffer system, almost eliminating any felt recoil. The entire build is under 7 pounds, which is incredible considering that most piston-driven systems are extremely heavy.

The APC line is a classic piston-driven design that has been the flagship of B&T’s firearm line. The APC has come in a plethora of calibers and size options, but the APC300 K in .300 Blackout is new for 2025.

Over the past decade, we have seen .300 Blackout firearms slowly replace the pistol-caliber carbine. The .300 Blackout cartridge offers more power than the smaller pistol calibers while being optimized for running suppressed.

There have been a lot of small-frame .300 Blackout platforms that have been introduced by some of the top firearm manufacturers, like the SIG Sauer MCX Rattler. The idea is to have an extremely compact firearm that still delivers the power of the .300 Blackout cartridge.

There is only one problem with this concept. A lot of the compact options have barrel lengths that are so short it diminishes the effectiveness of the cartridge. B&T’s APC300 K is small enough to fit in a backpack, but it maintains a 7-inch barrel.

This is perfect considering that .300 Blackout is optimized to run suppressed in barrels that are 7 to 8.5 inches long. This design also incorporates the hydraulic buffer system, significantly lightening the felt recoil.

This new compact package offers a collapsing rip-and-grip grip apparatus. It can accommodate either a stock or brace, depending on whether the firearm is serving as a pistol or short-barreled rifle. The new APC300 K, paired with a Super Quick Disconnect B&T suppressor, makes it perfect for professionals or individuals looking for a compact package that can still deliver accurate shots with a punch.

TP9 Pro Subgun

Subguns are generally small, but the TP9 Pro takes it to a new level. (Photo: Alexander Reville/Guns.com)

The TP9 is one of B&T’s most recognizable platforms, and there are good reasons for that. This 9mm subgun is extremely compact but maintains amazing functionality.

The new TP9 Pro features a whole new aluminum top cover, which integrates M-LOK slots for mounting accessories. The top rail now incorporates built-in iron sights and a deep cut for an Aimpoint Acro. The upper receiver also includes an ambidextrous charging handle that folds against the receiver.

One of the big complaints about the original TP9 was that the gun was too gassy when fired with a suppressor. B&T incorporated a completely enclosed upper receiver to prevent any gas from building up and escaping into the shooter’s face. This upgrade is paired with B&T’s new suppressor to make the platform extremely enjoyable, quiet, and non-gassy.

The other piece of feedback the company received on the original TP9 was that the trigger was extremely heavy and uncomfortable. B&T addressed this with a new flat-face trigger that has a lighter break. There is also a flared mag well for easier reloads.

SPR300 & SPR8.6

B&T’s next new platform for SHOT Show 2025 is an improved version of the B&T SPR. This special-purpose rifle is now offered in two chamberings that are optimized for subsonic shooting: .300 and 8.6 Blackout. The bolt-action platform is collapsible and extremely lightweight.

Since the barrel length is very short, the gun uses a detachable Print-XH sleeve suppressor. This suppressor attachment allows the shooter to experience noise readings below 125 dB from the muzzle, making it one of the quietest firearms on the market. Unloaded and without an optic, the platform weighs less than 7.5 pounds.

The new Print-XH design allows for the sleeve suppressor to be 3D printed out of materials that are exceptionally durable and lightweight. The folding stock and removable suppressor make it easy to store, while a top rail and M-LOK slots on the chassis make it easy to mount an optic and bipod.
