We’re celebrating a week of lever-action firearms here at Guns.com, and that makes it a perfect time to point out that Wisconsin-based Henry Repeating Arms has a svelte new “Spirit of the Corps” Marine tribute rifle this year.

Announced just a few months before the United States Marine Corps celebrates its 250th anniversary on Nov. 10, 2025, this engraved lever-action rifle is built on the popular Golden Boy platform. Chambered to run .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle, it has Leatherneck history all over it.

“For 250 years, the United States Marine Corps has stood as an unwavering symbol of bravery, sacrifice for the greater good, and selfless dedication to our country. We owe an unpayable debt to those who have worn the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor, and this rifle is our way of saying ‘thank you,’” said Anthony Imperato, founder and CEO of Henry Repeating Arms. “This rifle is a tribute to a milestone anniversary in our nation’s history, but even more so, it is a salute to every Marine who has ever answered the call to serve.”

Intricate engravings include famous lines from “The Marines' Hymn,” and the rifle has American walnut furniture that includes the words “in the air, on land, and sea” carved into the handguard. The engravings are further decorated with 24-karat gold inlay. (Image: Henry Repeating Arms)

The hand-painted straight stock depicts the flag raising at the Battle of Iwo Jima during World War II. An artistic collage captures the Marines’ MV-22B Ospreys, Joint Light Tactical Vehicles, and an assortment of Marine warfighters through the ages. It’s all very “gung ho,” and that fits the esprit de corps of America’s favorite but peculiar government-issue gyrenes. (Image: Henry Repeating Arms)

These tribute guns wear mirror-polished nickel plating on the receiver, butt plate, and barrel band. The rear sight is an elevation-adjustable buckhorn supported by a drift-adjustable front brass bead. Make no mistake, these guns are good-looking firearms that are also happy to run through box after box of .22 rimfire for a lifetime of shooting. The receiver is drilled and tapped for an optic, though we find it handsome enough without any glass.

Jarheads, squids, airmen, and soldiers alike will approve of Henry’s generous commitment to donate a portion of all proceeds from each rifle to the Semper Fi & America’s Fund. The non-profit organization is “dedicated to providing immediate financial assistance and lifetime support to critically wounded, ill, and injured service members, veterans, and military families.”

In addition to donated proceeds, Henry made a separate $25,000 donation to honor the Corps’ 250th anniversary and all fallen Marines, who are even now holding watch at those pearly gates in the sky.

The MSRP for this once-in-history semiquincentennial tribute rifle is a pricey $1,350, but fine things are never really free, are they? As a brand that is “made in America, or not made at all,” all Henry rifles come with the company’s generous lifetime warranty and 100-percent satisfaction guarantee.
