AS Designs had one of the most eye-catching booths at Gun Owners of America’s annual summit last weekend in Knoxville, Tennessee. Here’s what we found.
 

With the recent ruling against the ATF over forced reset triggers, AS Designs is bringing its Super Safety to several different platforms. The Super Safety uses a similar forced reset mechanism that allows faster firing of semi-automatic triggers.
 

The company is also expanding its trigger designs beyond the AR-15 to other popular platforms including the PSA Jakl, a popular AR alternative.

One of AS Designs’ flagship products is its MP5 lower. Considering that the MP5 is not only one of the most popular firearms on the market but also one of the smoothest, AS Designs introduced a trigger housing module that easily replaces the lower pistol grip receiver on H&K and MKE-produced firearms. This plug-and-play ability means the Super Safety can be installed without any tools or modifications to the original grip module. 
 

Building on the success of the H&K/MKE lower, AS Designs showed off a new prototype lower for PTR-manufactured firearms at GOALS. This grip module is comparable to both the MP5 and G3 PTR clones, with the user only having to replace the extractor. 
 

Additionally, the company is prototyping lowers for the Stribog SP9 and the new Springfield Kuna. The goal is to offer the Super Safety in as many platforms as possible, as AS Designs believes everyone should exercise their rights and own a Super Safety.
